Case law

The eSearch Case Law database in the field of intellectual property rights is available on the website of the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The database comprises a selection of the EUIPO's first-instance decisions and decisions of the EUIPO's Board of Appeal, judgements of the General Court, judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union and significant judgements by national courts of the European Union Member States in the field of the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

The database includes decisions by responsible Croatian courts as well, and it can be browsed through by indicating the language of the country whose case law is wished to be searched (in the box: Language). Detailed instructions on searching the database are available here.

The case law of national courts integrated in the eSearch Case Law database covers all intellectual property rights.

The European case law in the field of the enforcement of intellectual property rights is also analysed in several reports by the EUIPO that are being regularly updated, and they are available here.
